Welcome. On
the "Here For You" DVD, Elmo helps his cousin Chester
cope with serious illness and discovers that identifying and expressing
feelings can be powerful coping mechanisms. In addition to getting
the best medical care possible, professional counselors such as
social workers, psychologists, nurses, child life practitioners,
doctors and chaplains are available to you.
We understand
that for parents, family members, loved ones and children, facing
a serious illness is challenging on all levels - practical, physical,
emotional and spiritual. To the extent that this project can provide
a significant amount of information, guidance and comfort, we
are "Here for You."
